SHELBURNE, N.S. The team has been assembled, the parameters set, the methodology determined, and the case study launched.

Dr. Ingrid Waldron, Dr. Juliet Daniel, Dr. Paola Marignani, and Ella Gindi, planner for the Municipality of Lunenburg, have teamed up with the South End Environmental Injustice Society (SEED) to conduct a case study on Shelburne that will identify the contributory factors for high cancer rates in the African Nova Scotian community in the south end of Shelburne.
