A Windsor native has just published some promising research into new treatments that may shut down a cancer cell’s power source.
Dr. Paola Marignani, a scientist and professor in the faculty of medicine at Dalhousie University — who attended F.J. Brennan high school and the University of Windsor before moving on — is principal investigator of a study that reduced breast cancer in mice, published last week in the scientific journal Oncotarget.
